WHAT IS REIKI? THE HEALING ENERGY OF NATURE AND SACRED SYMBOLS
Reiki, in its literal sense, is the life energy of nature, also known as "Ki" energy. A person attuned to Reiki (one who has received the "empowerment") gains the ability to channel healing to both themselves and others. One of the most powerful aspects of Reiki is the use of sacred symbols during the healing process.
The Power and History of Sacred Symbols
Symbols have always existed in human history and will continue to do so. When you look at nature, you will notice that the geometric order seen in a pine tree is also depicted in the decorations of the Topkapı Palace. Symbols such as the moon, sun, and stars have been used since ancient times, and even modern geometry has been inspired by these forms.
